Hello,
Can we have another imaginary unit?
an "i" with two vertical lines?
When I solve electric circuit problems I have to use "c" for current.

You are correct, you shouldn't redefine some constants globally by editing a setting file.
Only option is adding variable defining codes to start of your worksheet.
