Hi everyone

I have to try to solve this equation with maple and solve but I only get the result "Empty stack", Someone knows solve it?

Hi. It seems that you put kd( ... ) instead kd*( ... ) in the maple solver.

"kd" is the only value unknown

In the first expression it is kd( ... ). In the second it is kd*( ... ). There the maple answer uses RootOf, I'm guess that because you have another issue in the expression. For instance A.s*Fy have units of Newtons, but the other part not.

Alvaro is right.
Left side of equation is N (kg*m/s^2), right side is J (kg*m^2/s^2).
A dimension should be extra or missing in that equation.
Probably not correct solution but if you equate units;

2. root is undocumented, most precious for dual solver [Example 2]
3. allvalues ... most precious in invlaplace [Example 3]
