Could you explain the purpose of the Symbolic and Numeric Optimization and when either is appropriate. If I turn on Numeric Optimization and hoover over an equation I see fractions with numbers with 10^15 or higher. I believe its to come up with a denominator which is the largest integer value. Why not just use the floating point value of the equation?
