I am in US as well. I can't say that I've had this issue. Perhaps issue with your ISP or DNS?

Up there, Smath Forum works charmingly well.

Sometimes, not often but very rarely, I come across this too.
However, I think problem is not SMath server. I suspect my ISP.

When it happens you can check if it is a site problem with external services like this.

If the site is up for the others then you can try to catch where is the issue with a "tracert smath.com" in a command prompt.

Yes, I have often seen the same behavior ever since the move from a free beta program to a paid program. It's been quite frustrating since I would normally expect more problems and instability issues from a free beta program than one I'm being asked to pay for now. I've done offline activation for the last year so that instability on the server end doesn't affect my use anymore.
