Thank you very much for your help. As I understand it, these are complex numbers. I'm not good at them yet. But, from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cS83YUpcEsY) (time - 3:49), I realized that this is Vo*cos(wt).


Took the formula from here - (https://web.stanford.edu/class/archive/engr/engr40m.1178/reader/reader.pdf) (page - 138).

As I understand it, these are complex numbers.

1. The formula exp(,) is just the exponential [decreasing in that case].
Nothing to do with complex as given. It shows the IR, IL currents.
2. The formula down far below the PDF is not associated with a circuit.
Just a dead piece of curiosity.
