There are no commas separating the thousands, millions, etc. in the numbers. How do I add automatic commas to the numbers?

That type of separation is not normalized in maths.
No CAS has that type of separation, unless from gyzma.
Just forget it.

What I'm saying is that thousands separator is not machine code.
Under the hood, your HP41 thousands separator is silent gadget display.
