Hi. Here are some notes about how the mesh is constructed. To include the missing vertices, they would have to be inserted at least twice, when drawing the diagonals. It could be done by constructing the mesh as it is, and instead of drawing the entire diagonal, to the center of the squares, but it could be a slow procedure.
