I think this is because lspline() requires equidistant x values and your's aren't.

Yes, that's true. But I think it's a bug.
The values ​​should only be sorted in ascending order X!
There is no such bug in Mathcad.

Yes, that's true. But I think it's a bug.

I'd not call it a bug. It is just a helper function of the Mathcad Toolbox Toolbox plugin, not meant being a full-featured multipurpose function. Yet, this restriction would be worth mentioning in the help text.
