Using eval() with stack() - When to use eval() - Сообщения
#1 Опубликовано: 30.01.2016 13:09:50
There is something interesting going on when I use the reverse function and the stack function. Then use the include function. Although I'm not sure if reverse is coming into play.
When I use eval with stack all problems go away. I tried using eval only with the reverse function but still have problems.
Take a look at the attached files and hopefully you will understand my issues, if not I can try to explain them better.
Put these in the same folder:
Stack1.sm (17 КиБ) скачан 57 раз(а).
Stack2.sm (11 КиБ) скачан 53 раз(а).

Falling objects go from top to bottom.
Elevation goes from bottom to top as per the construction.
Just a comment: too many gyzmas in the work sheet
Why 'n#' instead of 'n'
Nothing more confusing than a ladder of subscripts [4]
confusing with indices. Z', Z'' purely decorative [Z1, Z2]
eval(,) goes mostly with function(s), you have none, just arithmetics.

Thanks for the replies!
Ioan - I will try to incorporate your method. I should give read/write a try. It seams to be more robust and I would have more control. However it will be a bit more difficult to setup and a bit more messy (in the worksheet and in the folder).
