wfile not writing files - Messages
#1 Posted: 2/13/2011 5:52:45 PM
Hello all,
With SMath Studio installed in my user directory (on a Windows 7 x64 machine in \Users\fred\SMath; there is also a \Users\fred\SMath\users directory created for SMath file I/O), wfile doesn't write any files in spite of the fact that it consistently returns a 1. I also get no "unable to write file" message. Note that rfile DOES give an error message if it is asked to retrieve a file that doesn't exist.
Thanks,
Fred W

Thanks Radovan,
I did a bit more digging and found that my files WERE in fact being written; the problem is they are being written to the following directory:
C:\Users\fred\AppData\Roaming\SMath\user
rather than to
C:\Users\fred\SMath\user
Note that I am running Windows 7 x64.
Cheers,
Fred
