Absolutely free mathematical program with "paper"-like interface and numerous computing features (now with integrated mathematical reference book).
- Ability to trace evaluations through the Output Window implemented;
- Added ability to modify global variables inside the function using Output Parameters;
- Trailing zeros option added to Math region;
- Symbolic evaluation now shown in the Math Region as a simple equal sign (same as for numeric evaluation);
- PayPal donation method added to Donate dialog;
- Graph animation improved: animation starts as soon as Plot Region evaluation starts;
- Optimization of the Math Region now also controls mode of the calculations: Numeric, Symbolic or None;
- Added ability to remove line from line(..) function using Backspace;
- Added ability to load plugins from setting directory;
- Tooltips for the MathRegions with errors (those appeared on mouse hover) restored;
- Ctrl+= inside the text entry of MathRegion will cause inserting of equal sign now;
- Empty Math Region removing improved;
- Support for Tooltips added to Plot Region;
- Red border is now shown for all Regions evaluated with errors;
- Optimization context menu is now activated only for Math Region;
- Undo/Redo options removed from the Context Menu;
- 'rpm and 'radpm units values corrected;
- 'rph unit added;
- Gram unit extended with additional English name "'gram";
- Options dialog updated: tabs priorities changed, width increased to fix word wrapping issues on Mono;
- Removed ability to select items from Dynamic Assistance list by pressing the Enter key;
- Invisible status text issue on program start fixed;
- Fixed issue appears on separately changing of the axes scale for Plot Regions;
- Fixed error of representation units with subscript into Dynamic Assistance list;
- Fixed issue appears when pasting number with standard decimal symbol or entry with subscript into the existing Math Region;
- Fixed critical Plot Region error appears on wrong input data;
- Fixed issue when it was impossible to move Region by dragging it's bottom border with a mouse;
- Fixed error appears on plotting graphs based on some programmable functions that contains if statements;
- Fixed several errors in symbolic library that causes infinite loop or stack overflow exceptions;
- Fixed critical error appears when trying to change result (right part after the equal sign) of the equation.- Corrected behavior of showing Regions currently in evaluation state (illuminating them by green rectangle);
- Fixed error displaying when Variable/Function is not defined - in some case program didn't show the name of variable/function;
- Fixed inconsistent error displaying when no returning value specified by user for procedures on the Worksheet;
- Fixed error appears as "ENTER" string filled into the Math Region sometimes trying to insert item from Dynamic Assistance list when no items selected;
- Fixed Multiple Regions selection issue when Ctrl key pressed;
- Fixed issue appears when clicking on the selected Region when Scrollbar value is more than zero;
- Fixed local variables visibility errors;
- Fixed units parsing error for XMCD files plugin if units name of the program set to English;

May I ask if the handheld version is being discontinued ?
WroteThanks for the most recent version of SMath Studio, I'm using it to teach my hydraulics class. I did notice, however, that you cannot longer enter Greek characters in text by using the "Cntl+G" keystrokes. The only way to get Greek characters in text is by clicking them off the "Symbols" palette. Could you restore the ability of entering Greek characters using "Cntl+G" in the next version? Thanks!
Greek characters via "Ctrl+G" method works fine for me in this version

Is "Ctrl+G" working for you both in Math and Text regions? It doesn't work in the text region for me as well, as Gilberto mentioned.

Radovan

I reproduced it for Text Regions. Thank you. Will fix it soon.

I hope to create new Handheld version later.
Best regards.
