Hi,

I have done a calculation on a retaining wall, which suddenly has become corrupted. Smath will open the file, but won't display most of it. The last pages are missing, and there is just a red error dot on the last page (see pic)

Stottemur.sm (491 KiB) downloaded 67 time(s).. Is it somehow possible to restore this?

Smath is capricious with some plugins. If an image region has not completed
[right or wrong], most likely Smath will not save and will file 0 kb. That
is because an image region is resident in the work sheet, therefore: if
not done nothing to save. In your document, you had an empty "Writer region"
in red. Delete it, bingo => your document is 100 % there.

Thanks for the explanation. Is there any way to easily find empty regions like that?

It is an issue solved with the latest beta version, so you can upgrade and simply open the file with that version; if you won't update to a beta version you can still use the beta just to to open and save the file, then open this file with your stable SS.

"empty region": you mean an unspecified/not filled region.
Up to now, I never noticed Smath sending some region anywhere
in the work sheet. Mathcad 11 would [once in a while] send
region [usually a dead region] pages'sss down, pages'sss right.
In Smath, past the last region, next page is blank [blue].
