Vector inputs to Coolprop - Messages
#1 Posted: 9/25/2024 8:12:09 PM
Is there a way to enter vector inputs to Coolprop from SMath? I understand it is more of a CoolProp issue than an Smath one.
My interest is in getting the properties of water and steam on the saturation line over a range of pressures, where there is only one variable; the other inputs can be taken as fixed. I am trying to emulate the flow equations for a V-Cone flow meter.
I see this has been discussed in the CoolProp GitHub (https://github.com/CoolProp/CoolProp/issues/1689) in terms of R and Python, but not in terms of Smath or Mathcad or Maple Flow.

Hi. You can use vectorize or range variables. This example is with vectorize
cp-vectorize.sm (5 KiB) downloaded 63 time(s).

Best regards.
Alvaro.

Thanks. I didn't think of vectorizing the CoolProp function itself; I'll try that. I'm getting old; brain slowing down
[Next day] Thanks again. That is working exactly as I wanted.
