==PLEASE BE CAREFUL, THIS IS A [undocumented functions|UNDOCUMENTED FUNCTION]== ''developper know some major problems related to them and don't want them to be used in the real worksheets, because they can be excluded from future versions of SMath Studio'' {BR} time('''var''') return time from 1601-01-01 to now (the evaluation instant) '''var''' can be anything (f.e. ''time(0)'' or ''time(1)'') ==Origins== [#wikipedia_1601|From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:] Year 1601 (MDCI, Roman Numerals) was a common year starting on Monday of the Gregorian calendar and a common year starting on Thursday of the 10-day slower Julian calendar. January 1 of this year (1601-01-01) is used as the base of file dates and of Active Directory Logon dates by Microsoft Windows. It is also the date from which ANSI dates are counted and were adopted by the American National Standards Institute for use with COBOL and other computer languages. This epoch is the beginning of the 400-year Gregorian leap-year cycle within which digital files first existed; the last year of any such cycle is the only leap year whose year number is divisible by 100. All versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system from Windows 95 onward count units of one hundred nanoseconds from this epoch. ==Examples== [image|gap|{UP}time/time_wiki_01.png] [image|execution time|{UP}time/time_wiki_02.png] ==History== * SMath [http://en.smath.info/forum/yaf_postsm7057_SMath-Studio-0-94-4544--10-June-2012.aspx#post7057|0.94.4544] (stable): first relase ==See also== * [undocumented functions|undocumented functions] ==References== * [anchor|#wikipedia_1601]Wikipedia, year 1601 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1601|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1601] * time examples [{UP}time/time.zip|time.zip]
