atan function

Hello,

 

I'm having problems with the atan function, this function is not responding well.

No problem.

When you click on the math region, a black placeholder with rounded corners appears after the result, in the rightmost side. There you can customize the output unit, just type ' (apostrophe), and ° (degrees sign).

In version 0.99, how do I switch between degrees and radians?

Hello,

thank you for reporting but from your screenshot alone I cannot understand if there is a bug.

The function atan(x) results are expected into the (-pi/2 .. pi/2) domain, so this isn't the problem; what are the input values?

Many people are having problems with unspecific bug reports. It seems that the atan function does something different from what you expect it to do. So please specify what you observed and what you expect. Usually a minimum working example (.sm-file) demonstrating the problem should be attached.

Unless you are sure it is a bug, you first should post the problem in the forum.
