Please add the variables (metadata) under file->properties as variables that can be used in header and footer. The user would enter &[TITLE] in the header and get the data he entered under file-properties. The same could apply for &[AUTHOR], &[Organization] ...
Reason: Quality assurance in many organizations require that the company name and author are written on in the header/footer of the document.
